In TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Atticus reveals that Bob Ewell has a drinking problem as well. Why do you think people stuffering from economic hardship have a higher rate of drug/alcohol abuse? Do you sympathize with Mayella Ewell? Bob Ewell? Why/why not?
